Ceramic coating
Ceramic coatings are the latest in advanced paint protection for your vehicle. This liquid polymer is applied by hand to the exterior, where it forms a chemical bond with the surface, creating a protective layer that enhances the durability and self-cleaning properties of your paint, PPF, or vinyl finish.
If you want to keep your car looking flawless and prevent costly paint damage, a ceramic coating could be the perfect solution. However, it requires more preparation and can be more complex to apply compared to traditional car wax or sealants, so it’s recommended to have it applied by a certified detailer.
Durability is a standout feature of ceramic coatings. They offer exceptional hydrophobic properties that can last for years, providing long-term protection against environmental elements and everyday wear.

Along with their coatings, GYEON has also created a range of innovative maintenance products to ensure your vehicle remains in pristine condition with minimal effort.
WHY GYEON?

Ceramic coating, also referred to as nano ceramic coating, is an advanced protective layer that bonds to your car's clear coat, forming a semi-permanent barrier against dirt, water, chemicals, UV rays, and minor scratches.
Applied as a liquid polymer, it serves as a long-lasting alternative to wax, providing superior protection that doesn’t wash away or break down during cleaning. This makes it an excellent choice for maintaining a like-new appearance with minimal effort, enhancing the vehicle’s resilience and simplifying the cleaning process.
There are various ceramic coatings available for a wide range of surfaces, including paint, trims, glass, rims, leather, fabric, and even for paint protection films and vinyl wraps. This means you can safeguard every inch of your vehicle, whether or not it's wrapped.
what is ceramic coating?
As mentioned earlier, Ceramic Coating offers several advantages for maintaining your vehicle’s exterior and reducing ongoing maintenance. However, there are some common misconceptions and exaggerated claims about its abilities, so it’s essential to understand what it can and cannot do. While a Ceramic Coating can significantly minimize the risk of the following issues, it doesn’t completely eliminate them:
Water spotting
Water spotting happens when dirty water dries on your vehicle, leaving behind visible residue. The hydrophobic properties of a Ceramic Coating help water bead up and slide off the surface, but it doesn’t completely eliminate the possibility of water spots. Some water droplets may still cling to the vehicle, which can lead to spotting.
Eliminate the need for vehicle washing
Although a Ceramic Coating doesn’t make your vehicle maintenance-free, it does make washing your car much easier. Regular washing is still necessary to maintain your vehicle’s look, but the hydrophobic nature of the coating prevents dirt and water from sticking to the surface. This makes it easier to rinse away dirt and reduces the occurrence of water spots, saving you time and effort. Additionally, a Ceramic Coating eliminates the need for waxing, reducing a significant step in exterior care.
preventing Scratches and swirls
While Ceramic Coatings provide a protective layer that helps shield your car from minor scratches, UV damage, and chemical exposure, they are not indestructible. They don’t offer complete protection against more severe scuffs or stone chips, which is where Paint Protection Film (PPF) would be more effective.
Ceramic Coatings also help prevent swirls, which are often caused by automatic car washes or improper cleaning techniques. The coating reduces the need for direct contact with the surface, making it easier to clean your car without causing additional swirl marks.
WHAT DOES CERAMIC COATING NOT DO?
Here are the key advantages of applying a Ceramic Coating to your vehicle's exterior:
Enhanced apprearance
Ceramic Coatings elevate the look of your car’s surface by providing a tough outer layer that enhances the reflective qualities of the paint. This results in a glossy, clear, and vibrant finish that lasts for years with minimal maintenance. For matte finishes, there are specialized Ceramic Coatings that deepen the color and maintain its visual appeal.
Scratch protection
A Ceramic Coated vehicle has better resistance to light scratches and marks, which often occur from improper washing or from everyday wear and tear caused by dirt and debris on the road. The coating creates a tough chemical barrier that helps protect against these abrasions, preserving your vehicle's paint over time.
Additionally, this surface shield offers protection from acidic contaminants, reducing the chances of chemical staining or etching, provided the contaminants are promptly removed.
Hygrophobic
A major benefit of Ceramic Coatings is their ability to repel water. This means rainwater, mud, and road splashes slide off with ease, lowering the risk of damage from acidic rain or other harmful substances. The hydrophobic surface also prevents dirt and grime from adhering to your vehicle, making the cleaning process much simpler and faster.
UV protection
Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause fading and oxidation in your vehicle’s paint. Ceramic Coating helps to prevent this by adding an extra layer of protection against harmful UV rays, preserving the depth and vibrancy of your car's finish for longer.
Easier cleaning
With a Ceramic Coating, maintaining a clean car becomes much easier. The durable bonded finish eliminates the need for regular waxing or polishing.
Because the coating reduces the need for direct contact during washing, it minimizes the risk of surface scratches that can occur from improper cleaning techniques. While regular upkeep is still needed, the coating makes cleaning faster and less labor-intensive with suitable car care products, which are available through our online store.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CERAMIC COATINGs?

our application process
Ceramic Coatings can be used on a wide range of interior and exterior surfaces, but one key factor is essential for all applications – a careful and thorough cleaning before the coating is applied. As a certified vehicle detailing company, we guarantee that our process consistently delivers outstanding results each time.
Here’s an overview of our application procedure:
Step 1: Thorough Cleaning
We begin with a multi-stage wash using the 3-bucket grit guard system, professional-grade chemicals, and specialized tools. This meticulous process minimizes the risk of surface defects and swirl marks, effectively removing all dirt and contaminants from your vehicle’s exterior.
Step 2: Clay Bar Treatment
Clay bar treatment is essential for prepping your paintwork before applying a ceramic coating. The semi-soft clay removes microscopic dirt particles from the fine grooves in your paint, creating a smooth surface that allows the ceramic solution to bond effectively.
Step 3: Machine polishing
In this step, we reduce or eliminate surface imperfections in the top layer of your car's paint using a rotary polishing tool and cutting compounds to refine the finish. Our standard packages include a single-stage machine polish, but if desired, you can opt for a multi-stage or full paint correction for a more detailed finish.
Step 4: Surface Preparation
Each panel is treated with a degreaser to remove any oily residues, ensuring a smooth, antistatic surface that's ready for the ceramic coating application. This step is also the initial stage for a freshly wrapped vehicle.
Step 5: Ceramic Application
Using a microfiber applicator, apply the solution to the pad and evenly spread it across each vehicle panel. Wipe away any excess promptly to avoid the formation of streaks, which may require additional corrective treatment.
Step 6: Curing
After the Ceramic Coating is applied, it needs time to fully cure without any external factors interfering with the hardening process. To ensure the best results, all vehicles with coatings must remain in our controlled environment for a minimum of 24 hours.
Infrared heaters can be used to speed up the curing process for enhanced effectiveness.
